At the beginning of summer time between may and june is the tiny canner lobster season in canada.

These lobsters weigh between 1-1.5lb each but lobster meats are fresher and taste much sweeter than the bigger ones.

These personal size canner lobsters are best for individual serves, meanwhile one lobster can make two dishes.

Simply steam the whole lobster for about 8-10mins, than remove the tail as your first dish, and prepare the lobster brain (and yes, Chinese favourite!) and meat from the claws, and you can make the evil high cholesterol lobster brain fried rice with some veggies and minced garlic, and believe it or not, adding any additional seasoning or flavour will ruin the freshness of the lobster!

While this is suppose to be a low sodium healthy choice but then it become a high cholesterol booster in the end.

 

|龍蝦兩食|

5-6月期間是加拿大的龍蝦季節。這個時候就是每隻只有大約1-1.5磅的太子龍蝦(Canner Lobster)當造期。

誰說龍蝦一定要大的,其實小型太子龍蝦比大的更清甜,而且還可以一人一隻,甚至一隻兩吃。

簡單清蒸整隻龍蝦大概8-10分鐘,然後利用龍蝦膏加上龍蝦鉗拆肉和小棠菜、蒜粒炒飯。

由於龍蝦實在太新鮮,清蒸龍蝦尾爽脆清甜,炒飯配上鮮味龍蝦膏一點兒調味都不需要,就連一丁點兒鹽也沒有啊!

圖中的無添加龍蝦膏炒飯原本應該是健康低鈉之選,不過用上3隻龍蝦膏為材料之後就變成了膽固醇加強劑。
